Artisan Wednesday Wow

Welcome to the Artisan Wednesday Wow! Blog hop.  Hopefully you were able to see Heather Summers adorable scrapbook page!
If not be sure to make it all around the hop and get back to her blog:)
Here is what I came up with for the month of April's Face book Project!
Some cute little craft boxes, decorated for a baby shower!
Here is a close up of the details.  I added distressed dots with Craft Whisper White ink.
Stamped the umbrellas separate on Whisper white and popped them up over the bases that I had stamped in Soft Suede.  These were fun and pretty easy to make!
Thanks for stopping by, now be sure to hop on over to the amazing Jane Lee and
check out her beautiful card and envelope!

Parks and Rec Cards

Hello everyone!  Here is another round of my parks and Rec cards.  This class is going great.  I have a few new stampers, which is always fun!  And of course some of my loyal attendees:)
These two cards are clean and simple, especially the top one.  I had seen a similar card to the top one on Pinterest.  I added a bit but it is a pretty close CASE.  Hope you enjoy the cards!

Artisan Wednesday Wow!

Welcome back to another round of Artisan Wednesday Wow!
I hope you had a chance to check out another beautiful project from Heather Summers!  She is so talented!!  If you haven't stopped by her blog yet, be sure to make it all the way back to her.
Here is my third project of the month.  I had done a similar jar for Easter and really liked it so I thought it would be perfect for an Artisan Post!  I used the Pop-up Posies and sponged around the edges.  Instead of the brads they came with I decided to use some Vintage Brads.  Let me know what you think!
Now it's time to stop by Jane Lee's amazing blog!  You have to see how creative she is!  She always does such a great job!

Parks and Rec Cards

Hi Everyone!  Well I started up another round of my Parks and Rec classes.  It is always fun meeting new customers and teaching them card making:)
Here are the two cards we made the other day.  Inside the top one says Mother...I did the title inside that way they could do any word they wanted out of the set.  The next one we did was a birthday...because you can always use a birthday card!
Thanks for stopping in!  See you again soon:)

Well I have been having fun with this box!  I love it's cheery spring feel!  Here is a wall hanger I made to leave notes for my husband (I would say for him to leave me notes...but I know better:)  I used the Pop-Up posies Kit in the spring catalog for the flowers and sentiment tag.  I absolutely love this kit!

Here is a close up of the center flower.  I sponged around the edge with Daffodil Delight and added the big Summer Starfruit button to the center!  Hope you like it!

Cards and Cocktails!

I had another great class last Friday.  I love my cards and cocktails group!  Always a fun time.  This month these are the cards we made.  I try to be a little versatile and give them a few styles and different types of cards, here is what I came up with...
The top one is a tri-fold card.  I love the natural composition paper!  If you don't have it already, it is a must buy!
Next we did a masculine birthday...because, well everyone seems to always need these!
And last but not least a springy "hope" card.  Thanks for stopping in and don't forget that Wednesday is our weekly Artisan Wednesday Wow!  Blog hop.

Downline Meeting

I have such a great group of down line!  I truly enjoy ever time I get to hang out with them.  This months meeting was no different!  And with so many new things popping up daily (it seems) at Stampin' Up!  It was a jam packed meeting.

Every down line meeting I hold I try to give my group a workshop ready card and 3-D item.  Since that means keeping it simple I tend to use some of the GREAT kits that SU! offers.  I also wanted to get there hands on the Polymer stamps so they could see how amazing they are!
Thanks for stopping by!!!

And perfect for a baby card!  Here is the front, the cloud background was ran through the embossing folder on Marina Mist Card Stock, then I sponged the clouds in with whisper white.
Here is the inside of the card with the little pop-up...

Easter

Happy Easter...MDS style.  Sorry its a little late:)

So here are the kiddos, all dressed up.  Well kinda, I keep them a bit on the casual or re-wearable side, since I got sick of buying outfits for one day use!

This little guys thinks it is so funny to make faces when I want a nice picture:)

Or smiles so big he closes his eyes...
But it was a great Easter!  The kids had fun and we enjoyed family time!  Thanks for stopping by!

Club Card

Happy April Fools...not my favorite holiday.  I don't really enjoy pranks or being part of pranks...so I try to sit it out.  But I am always on my toes so I don't look to naive believing someone else's prank:)
Here are the two cards I made with my clubs this past month.  Above is my regular club and below is advanced.  Not a huge difference, but a step up in how much I put on the card.  Hope you like them! and thanks for stopping in!
