Pumpkin Patch

Happy Halloween!!!!Here are the kids somewhat posing for a picture at our local pumpkin patch.
Here is Kamili and Makai going down the big slide. It took Kai a little bit to get up there, but once she did it was well worth it!

And the whole family. This is the best picture you can get with three little kids. I am shocked they are even looking the same direction:)

Special Halloween Card

I try very hard to send my Grandma a card/letter once a month. I wish I did it more often, but I admit I don't even always keep true on that commitment. She lives in Wisconsin and I don't see her nearly as much as I should. But when it comes to Halloween, it being one of my favorites, it is probably her least. So I wanted to be wise about the card I made her. Because whats the point in sending a card to someone if they don't like it?!?(I did fill it with pictures of the kiddos, so I couldn't really go wrong) Anyways I picked this cute little witch from Greeting card kids. This is such a fun set if you like to watercolor. I am sure you will see more of it for Christmas and Valentines Day:) Here she is close up. I used primarily perfect plum for her dress and peach parfait for the pumpkin, and those are the same colors I accented with in the dsp and the scallop edge.
Thanks for looking!

Disneyland

Who doesn't love Disneyland?(ok besides my husband) Put aside the long lines, crazy expensive food and war of main street when the fireworks are on, and well, it's the happiest place on earth:) So I took the kids with my mom and sister and her kids last week. It was a blast! I love Disneyland's decorations for Halloween(go figure, right?) So cute...Check out the Haunted Mansion. And the entrance. I can't get past all the great details they add! Wouldn't that be fun to work there and design all that stuff!
Here are the kiddos posing on the "L" in front of California Disney
And my mom taking Kai on the bumper cars in the Bugs World and Cal. DisneyI can't exactly tell you what this is these kids are so crazy:)Jenee with Mara
And my little Zav-Zav...I just want to eat him up!

It was a great day. Me and the girls are going back in a few weeks for a friends birthday. They can't wait!

More Parks and Rec Cards

SO I started a new round of class. Of course I had to get them going on a Halloween Card:) I know it is similar to the club card/scrap page we did last month. But everyone seemed really happy with it so I figure why not. I just changed it a little. This card isn't my favorite. Maybe its the colors because I think this is a cute set. Who knows?!?
And this is a simple hello card. I am a huge tea fan so I had to get this little guy!

Stamp Till You Cramp!!

We had a great event a few weeks ago. SO much fun stamping with everyone. Each of us demos made a gift for each of our guest. We agreed on making a mini clip board, that way even though they are all different, they are walking away with a similar item! Here is what I made... Here is a picture of our event, you can check out more pictures on the crazy stampin lady blog on my side panel...she got some good pictures.
Here are the goodie bags we made up for everyone. Aren't they cute!
And here is the sweets buffet that I had done up for the event! The banner says "sweets" I know its a bit hard to see. The candy was all color coordinated to match our theme. IT looked great!

Hope you can join us next time! It's a great day of stamping!

Pars and Rec Cards

Did ya miss me? I know its been a while! Yikes! I am trying...really:) Here are some cards from my Parks and rec class a few weeks ago. I have a bit of catching up to do. I love this color combo! I used a card in the current catty to base this off. It is pretty close but some times you just have to case!
This card is also very similar to the one in the large catty. I think this birthday bakery set is so darn cute!

And here is a Thanksgiving card I made. Simple but clean. These pumpkins are so fast and easy and make such a great accent on a card. Good night and I will see you tomorrow!

Baby Food Jar

So this time around I decided to do baby food. Call it a third child thing, but I just don't have time to make my own this time around! So to all the moms out there who star at these cute little jars and think What could I do with these cute things! Here you go! Here is a picture of the top, so you can see the details.
And then the whole shah-bang! Isn't it cute? I filled it with caramel apple flavored kisses that are the same color as Cajun craze. Perfect little treat!

Retreat Swap1

As I mentioned yesterday I attended a stampin retreat at my fellow demonstrator Jamie's house this past weekend. It was a great time with new faces and ideas!
We had to come with two swaps for the event, so here are the two I came up with! I used the same technique on my leaves as my secret sister did for the last gift she gave me. This card was clean and simple, but perfect for fall!
Check back tomorrow for my second card!

Hostess Gift

A demo in my area-Jamie recently invited me t a retreat she held for her downline and sideline. Although I am not connected to her group, she and everyone there were so sweet and welcoming! But if you know me, I don't show anywhere empty handed! So I made her a hostess gift!
Here are two pictures of the bag. I stamped directly on it, then made a cute little hanging tag. I filled it with tissue paper and a piece of this cool "creepy" cloth that I got at the dollar tree(gotta love that place) and of course there was something creepy inside!...
I decorated this neat glass jar I had with our decor element spider. I went a little crazy in my house with these! I think they are so cute! Anyways the orange you see through the glass is a orange spice candle. I looked for purple or black but they all had no sent!

Here is the top details. It is hard to see but the bat is sparkly with black glitter! Thanks for stopping by!
