An Apple a Day

The perfectly Preserved set is so cute...and to think I didn't think I needed to buy it right away.  Glad I changed my mind on that:)  This cord is very simple and to the point, but perfect for a set of teacher cards!
The colors are Cajun Craze, Raspberry Ripple, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso and Very vanilla.
Thanks for stopping by!  See you tomorrow for Halloween!

Wood grain Card

I love the wood grain embossing folder.  It makes such a beautiful impression and is perfect for the fall and winter holidays!  For this card I used the folder and inked it up with Soft Suede ink.  Ran it through my big shot on Crumb Cake Card Stock, and you get this great look.  Your wood grain is two tone and really pops.
For the tulle on the card I took our Crumb Cake 3 1/2" tulle and folded it the long way.  Added a strip of red Sticky Strip along the wood grain.  Then took the tulle and "ruffled" it then covered it with a strip of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping in!

Hostess Gift for my downline

At this months down line meeting we made these fun "sour cream containers".  This was my groups "hostess gift" idea.  Something cute and simple they could pass on to the next hostess they have a workshop for:)  Or at least that is my wishful thinking!
I have to say I do love these containers, and how you can really make them any size.  Such a quick little gift to give someone to say thanks!
