Pocket Card

There is something about this card that makes me happy.  I am not sure if it's the colors or the set, or maybe both:)
This is a fun twist on a traditional card, since the other part is a pock and you pull out the inner piece.  This is great to hide a gift card in or a special message!
Thanks for stoping by!

a one more patriotic card

So how amazing is the Gorgeous Grunge set?  I am starting to wonder if I can even make a card with out it:)  I feel like I use it ALL THE TIME!!!  O'well, I guess that is what stamps are made for:)
So here is my patriotic version of the grunge.  We used the Be a star set and scored the large star so it was 3-d.  I love the way this card turned out, just a twist on the traditional.

June Paper Pumpkin

We have an old ugly fireplace...so I try to mask it as much as possible:)  I usually have a decent amount of decor on the mantel and a banner hanging below.
This was my summer/4th of July themed mantel...it will probably stay up until Kamili's birthday in August.
I used the pinwheels from the June paper pumpkin kit and added it to pieces front the new Chalkboard banner kit.
I love that kit and have already made two banners with it and have plenty left for at least two more!!
Here is a sample of the way they intended the kit to be used.  I am really liking the new Paper pumpkins.  Sign up here today!!!
Hope you all had a happy and safe 4th of July!

Happy 4th:)

Here is the little project we did at club this past month.
We used the new decorative masks (hearts & stars and dots & stripes) and stenciled them on the muslin bags.
Then we made a "firework" with our filter paper and added some star garland.

Filled it up with candy and it was a great little hostess gift:)
