Downline Meeting

Thank you to all my Down line that were able to come to my August meeting!  I hope the rest of you can make it to the large Quarterly meeting tomorrow!

So with trying to get everyone excited about the bundles and kits in the Holiday catty.  I decided to stick with those products while creating the workshop ready projects my down line would make.  So here is what I came up with.
I love this little mummy...and so cute with the one googly eye!
These cookie wrappers are great for just about anyone!  Prefect for that non-stamper too!
These are simple and sweet.  I try to take the guess work out of workshops for my down line.
See you tomorrow!

Cards!

Here are some cards I recently made for my Parks and Rec class.
I tried to do a mixture of feminine, general, and masculine.

The new core-danation paper is great!  I love the effect on this card.

This flower was made by spritzing it with rubbing alcohol, scrunching it up, forming it and letting it dry!
So what do you think?

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop-Project 10

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the LAST day of the hop.  I hope you were able to check out Heather Summers Blog, before you came here!

Well here is my last entry project to show you.  My little Kamili's scrap book page.  I used the texture Whisper White paper, because I love the way the ink pads look wiped across the texture.  The domestic goddess paper had such a great pallet of colors, so I decided to stick with them through out the page.
Here is a close up of my silly girl.  I loved the little clothes pins( I have a thing for clothes pins) and thought they were perfect with this paper!

I am SO glad you all visited our blogs to check out the projects we made for this exciting contest.  It is a true honor to be part of a team with the very talented stampers.  Be sure to stop by again as we will all be showcasing different projects each month for the design team!

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop-Project 9

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the ninth day of the hop.  If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog, I am glad you came by!

This is my final card I made for the Artisan Entries.  I love the effect of the tulip embossing folder sanded on the designer series paper.  This card was colored in with chalk, spritzed and glittered(in the center of the flowers) I added simple embellishments of a hat pin and mini brads.  The bow is made from our Daffodil Delight seam binding that I scrunched up to give it a vintage feel.
Here you can see how the center of the banner is popped up with dimentionals and the ends curled up with the bone folder.

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop-Project 8

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the eighth day of the hop.  If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog, welcome!
I am so glad you have been checking out all of our post!

So here is my last 3-D.  I really enjoyed making this tree.  It uses about 10 sheets of 12x12 paper and 3 sheets of cork. (the cork is layered in between each layer of paper to achieve the spacing.  The top ball is "stained" with the tea stain ink in the retired distressing kit.
The snowflakes were stamped in stazon after it was stained, then spritzed with shimmer paint and itty bitty pearls were added.
The banner was distressed and attached with the miniature safety pins.
I curled the ends of  each layer up, distressed them with tea stain ink and spritzed them with shimmer paint.  Then added different size pearls to the tips.
Hope you enjoyed this project!  Thanks for stopping by.

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop-Project 7

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the seventh day of the hop. I can't believe we are so close to the end! If you are joining me from amazing Heather Summers Blog, welcome!

As you have probably notice by now that the majority of the products I am using have been retired, well this card is no different.  I LOVED the Sale-a-Bration collection this year.  Especially the DSP and sets that coordinated with it.  The colors were amazing and the patterns were great.  I used framelits and punches to create the hearts and edge detail.  I was very happy with the way it all came together...and oh do I miss poppy parade and peach parfait:(

Here is a close up to give you a better idea of the dimensions.

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop - Project 6

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the sixth day of the hop.  If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog, welcome!
I am so glad you have been checking out all of our post!

So this in my favorite of my three scrap book pages...If it wasn't SUCH a pain I would reproduce it so I  could have it for Makai's book. I love this picture of her, it was taken in a jam!  I knew this page would be for her, but I couldn't find the perfect picture, so I added a butterfly to her hair, went in the back yard, and well, it worked!!
I am not sure if you can really see all the details, so I will do my best to explain what went into this page!
All of the flowers are cut out and then popped up onto the same pattern of Designer series paper.  I then added crystal effects to each leaf, stem and flower.  and wrote the words to "my favorite things" around the popped up flowers...rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and well you get the point:)

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop - Project 4

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the forth day of the hop.  If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog, welcome, welcome!!!

So on to the 3-D!  I usually LOVE 3-D projects, but for artisan entries I feel like the pressure is REALLY on for these projects...maybe it's just me!  So since I waited down to the wire to decide to enter this year, when I didn't LOVE these I was a bit concerned that is may not "cut it"  Honestly it was mostly the flowers on the girl onesie I wasn't thrilled with...O'well!
So here is the little girl onesie,  with a coordinating hanger.  The fabric and Designer Series Paper are both Summer smooch.  I do love the blue and red combo!!!
And here is the little guy onesie,  The tie was stitched around with whisper white bakers twine and I used satin ribbon for the suspenders!

2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop - Project 3

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the third day of the hop.  If you are joining me from the amazing Heather Summers Blog, welcome!

Here is the second card I am sharing.  I LOVE to water color so I think this is one of my favorite entries!  This little girl and boy from Greeting Card Kids is so darn cute!!!
I used the distressing kit that was available last year to create the aging on the water color paper.  The main colors used on this card are Early Espresso, Baja Breeze and Cherry Cobbler.
Here is a close up of the details, it is hard to tell but the bottom of the little girls skirt is popped out and the book the boy is carrying is as well!

Welcome to the official 2012 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  Today is the second day of the hop.  If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog, welcome! I hope you loved her project today!

Here is my little man-Zavian's scrap book page!  Since I have three kiddos and we needed to submit three pages, I figured I would do one of each!
I love the bright colors on this page and the way they pop against the Whisper White and Early Espresso!  The other colors I used are...Poppy Parade, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist, Peach Parfait and Daffodil Delight.
