Watercoloring class project 1 & 2

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday!

Last week I held a water coloring class. We made 5 small projects with 5 different techniques of water coloring. And since it is one of my favorite things to do, I had a blast teaching the class. The first project I am highlighting was a gift bag and tag we decorated. The tag was the watercolor part-we used watercolor crayons for this project.

The second project we made was this little flower tin. The flowers are the white paper flowers in the idea book and catalog. We used the re-inkers and aqua painters to create this "tie-dye effect on them.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see the rest of the projects we did!

On Sunday my mom and I held our monthly Christmas Card class. It is a great class. 10 cards for $20.00! Here is what we did last week... This card is using the Bright Hopes set in the current holiday mini. We rock-n-rolled the wreath and stamped the snow flake tone on tone.
The next card is the one my mom came up with, using the snow much fun set and markering in the images!

Teddy Bear Picnic

So last week Makai's school hosted a Teddy Bear Picnic for all the kids! It is a fun day for the students. They get to have a snack outside with there teddy bears and do teddy bear related stuff. I though it might be cute to make a treat for the kids... I know they are a bit hard to see so here is a closer look at just the treat. I took the extra large marshmallows and dipped them in chocolate. added small chocolate chip cookies for ears and added a face with frosting, put it in a baggy and tied it off with a teddy bear tag!
Here is the whole crew of them I made. We put them in a picnic basket and Makai handed them out!

Teachers Birthday Card

Last week was Kamili's Teacher's Birthday! This is all fine and dandy, but I literally found out after breakfast the day of! Which kills me because I make things:) And by things I mean things that take more then 5 mins to pull together. The good thing was when we got to school, I was one of many moms who had found out the same way! So we pooled together and got her a gift. I told them i would take care of the card...so this is what I came up with! Thanks for coming by~H

Club 3d project

Yesterday I posted the card I made with my club this month. Since it was a bit labor intensive, I wanted to give them a "break" when it came to the 3-d. I love these card sticks and they are so easy to make!!! We filled them with skittles that coordinated in color with our just add cake DSP. Punched out two scalloped squares and stapled them onto the bag to make sure it wouldn't open! Then started layering the embellishments!
simple and sweet!

August Club Card

I wanted to try out my new embossing folders that have been burning a hole in my box:) I needed to use them so I figured I would throw two of them on my club card. I was very happy with this card and it seemed at least that my club members were to! I love this little butterfly set, kindness matters. But I wanted to go neutral with a pop of color. I was going to try it first with orange and yellow, and I am sure I would have loved it...but I figure that my members will probably want to see something a bit different so I went out of my comfort zone:) I think the blues and greens REALLY pop! Above is a a close up, we used crystal effects on the center butterfly and popped it up. Distressed and added a pearl to the K on thanks!

Thank you for coming by!
