Artisan Design Team Facebook August Project

Here is my "IN COLOR" face book project for August!  You can check out Stampin' Up!'s page here.

 As I am SURE I have mentioned before...I really love clothespins.  I don't really know why, but they have a special place in my heart:)  So I created this jar to hold decorative clothes pins.  These are great to have around for chip bags, mail, to leave a note or to just look cute!  I used cardstock on the top to "cover it" I distressed the cardstock with a bone folder until it started to separate into two layers.  That way it was thin enough to go under the rim.  I added flowers I had spritzed and distressed with rubbing alcohol.

 Here is a close up of the flower..hopefully you can see the crystal effects on each polka dot in the center.
