Calla Lily Tin

I LOVE CALLA LILIES!

To me they are such a pretty flower with such a unique shape. And this time of year mine 5 plants are in full bloom! I figured what better then paper ones! And with stampin' ups ornament punch and small oval punch they are SO easy to make. So check out below the simple steps on how to create your own! Here is the front view of the tin I put them on.
(for give me for some of the pictures being side ways)

Step 1: What you need.

Punches:

small oval

ornament

Ink:

Creamy Carmel

Summer Sun

Old Olive

Card stock:

Summer Sun(big enough for one small oval to be punched)

Whisper White (big enough for one ornament to be punched)

Old Olive(2-3"x3/4" strips)

Other:

Mini glue dots

sponge for each color of ink

tombo mono multi glue

scissors

bone folder

******************************

Step 2: Distress, Punch, Cut and Sponge

Distress you paper by running your bone folder under it, and break down the fibers.

Punch one small oval from the summer sun card stock and trim the tip off.

Punch one ornament from the whisper white card stock and trim the "top" of it.

Cut the two strips of old olive card stock into "leaf" shape. These don't have to be perfect, but you may want to cut them together to come out with the same size, and try to use the majority of the strip in order to have large enough leaves.

Then sponge around the edge of all 4 pieces, on BOTH sides.-trimmed oval with summer sun ink, trimmed ornament with creamy caramel ink and leaves with old olive ink.
*****************************

Step 3: Curl
Take the trimmed small oval and roll it up, place a mini glue dot to hold it closed.
Curl the trimmed ornament "in" so that it will curve around when it is ready to assemble.
Curl both leaves as shown in picture.
*****************************
Step 4: Place one small dot of glue at base of trimmed ornament.
******************************

Step5: Attach center of flower
*****************************

Step 6: Roll and assemble
Roll edges of ornament in and place a mini glue dot to hold it in place.
Place a single glue dot towards the bottom of the straight part of one of the leaves, with the curl being placed out, and attach it to the other leaf(with the curl on that one being placed out as well)Then glue dot the flower to the leaves.
******************************

And there you are~

Hope you enjoy!
